Class of 2009 - SVR this year

I thought I'd start an SVR 2009 thread, just to see how many people made it this year.

I started this thread on the Hep Social Forum, but just realized that not everyone is hanging out over there.

VL 919,000
Tx 48 weeks in Vertex trial (the one with the placebo arm...(I think) I got the placebo)

Riba 1000 mg throughout
180 peg...dose reduction to 135 weeks 7 for about 6 weeks. ( i prob did closer to 150 those weeks, tho)

Light sx throughout tx. (fatigue, itchy, scritchy and bit@hy)
Lost no weight (gained 10 lbs)
Lost mininal hair

I just began treatment on Friday 12/11, just tired, so far good.  I hope to be a part of the early 2010 class,, wish me luck!

Diagnosed in 2006, guess I've carried this for 22+ years based on risk factors
Stage1, Grade 1
Starting v/l 2.1mil
Started treatment on Feb. 29/2008 in R1626 PhaseIIb trial, polymerase inhibitor
Trial was stopped prematurely for all participants everywhere due to adverse effects on the immune system, for me it was at 34 weeks in Oct 2008.  
SVR anyway in April 2009!!  Nod to my trial compadres who did not fare so well.

No remaining side effects, left with Hashimoto's hypothyroid that developed while on treatment - permanent, daily synthroid, manageable.
