Clearing HCV without treatment? Genotypes?

I know I'm focusing on come 'clearing' questions, but does anyone know of stats that show something like 'Of those that clear spontaneously, what are the breakouts amongst genotypes'?  Just curious if 1's clear less than 2/3's.  Thank you!

Not really.  Other hints may be prior lab reports from over the years, pinpointing the acute phase (if you noticed), any behaviors that are recalled.  Thing is that many people are curious but not many are sure and those that have suspicions sometimes don't want to revist those pasts.  Many people just live with the source and timing as 'Dunno".

Good point.  Didn't think about that.  Does a low VL (860) tell anything about how long I may have had this disease?  Have not had biopsy yet.

That's almost a trick question.  In order to be able to geno type the virus you need to have some virus to test.  Spontaneous clearence implies there is not virus. Ergo, no virus to genotype.  The loophole would be if you were able to test while in the acute stage before clearence. If DoubleDose comes along, he may suggest another loophole.
