It"s ok anyway.... I seem to get all the info. I need "right here ",as there are many experienced members who really seem to know their way around HCV.

This is on another wed site like this that has a hep c community.http://forums.webmd.com/3/hep-c-support-group/forum/31.This is the link to follow on the Webmd site.
I use Dosecast, the paid version (it's like $3 or so). Works great.
Lol can you just imagine being new a few years ago and telling Jim he was wrong? ooops Mike you don't know what you are talking about -who cares how brilliant you are or how many pub-med, asld articles you have studied and dissected guys, colloidal silver rocks with my UV rays!

I was being facetious..with tongue firmly planted in cheek :0)
If it quacks like a duck then indeed it is a QUACK.

"Just check the paper work that cam with your meds.It will tell you what to do if you miss a dose. Also call the drug company like I did this morning and ask.I reported that You Tube video be a quack dr and they were greatful for the info"
As you can see who called her a quack dr.... The one that knows all, i believe his name is micheal???
"Dr Parmer a QUACK??? "
Is that not a question people??? Never said she was a quack, somebody else did referring to her video.........
another hep c web site her patients are looking for a new dr because she is no longer practicing. She is with Howard Stern on Sirius Radio giving advice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
just wondering pray tell what web site this might have been??
Yes cando ...why are you calling the renowned Dr. Palmer a quack?
She has made this big career move to the Stern show...she is legit now :0)
Will
Why are you calling her a quack.Vertex thanked me for the info.I read on another hep c web site her patients are looking for a new dr because she is no longer practicing. She is with Howard Stern on Sirius Radio giving advice.
Maybe if I'm good for Christmas somebody will buy me her book for Christmas next year ;) gotta love the book clubs maybe I'll also get lucky and ask for Lloyds?
And again why do people study trials and published data for years when they can just you tube a magic answer?
Dr Parmer a QUACK???
Oh my i bet vertex got a good laugh out of that!
Check the paperwork that came with your meds.Mine say on Incivek there is only a 1 hour window(if a 7 pm dosage you can take it between 6 pm or 8 pm) which the drug should be administered every 8 hours.I hate Incivek because of the 20 grams of fat and I called Vertex to complain.I tried to come up with a happy medium to the 20 grams. If the test subjects took both Incivek and Ribavirin at the same time, and I am alternating the two every 4 hours, would this change the results of the absorption rate. They said no and they said It"s ok to seperate the drugs every 4 hours.I even asked if I cut or crush the pills for greater absorbency, they said not to tamper with the pills and to take them whole.Well that answers my question on the 20 gram issue.I will ask my dr today to switch to Victrelis if possible. If not I will have to cowboy up.,take it like a man and stop whining.I have come this far the last 18 months,I do not want to screw it up now.
You can watch the video on You Tube as"dr.Melissa Palmer-Telaprevir & Boceprevir for Hepatitis C part 1+2.She talks of resistant to the drug if you miss a dosage.I called vertex and they said not to believe everything I see or read online.
Just curious, whats the app called? I just set the alarm but thats getting old, could mix it up!
ps. the incivek gives you a 4 hour window, for some reason victrellis only has a 2 hour window.
Hi michael,
I never saw a video. I have seen a good few articles as willb describes and received guidance from my doc and pharmacy stressing this. I am not sure why you have an opinion that differs as I have not found any articles that are particularly controversial on this being a potential risk. You should be able to research this yourself easily but I have not saved the links to these.
If you google on incivek resistance you should find plenty of info to read through.

I do concur that missing one dose one time, you are probably ok but it's still a risk to be avoided by any means possible in my book
Good luck.
Thx. Keith....All these months I been sitting here wondering WTF..
