Do you think I have Hep C?

I had a protected exposure to a prostitute a decade ago. I tested for HIV several times, all negative. Recently I've been having liver problems. I'm getting tested for Hep B, C, and HIV. I truly think I have Hep C, although everybody else thinks the liver problems are due to obesity. I truly doubt that is the case because I've researched cirrhosis and obesity has nothing to do with it. What do you guys think?

Well if you do have hep c you didn't get it from "protected" sex with a prostitute, hep c is spread by blood to blood contact only.

Obesity has a direct link to liver disease and cirrhosis, follow the link at the bottom

(Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease [NAFLD] and Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis [NASH])

Google obesity and cirrhosis, there seems to be a link between the 2 without drinking. Here are a few articles I found:

You will know your HCV status for sure when you get your test results back.

Good luck!
