Hi I recieved my 4 weeks blood test today. Before starting treatment my viral count was 1,470,000 and today my viral cout is 1,000. Im am very happy with result but apprehensive not sure if this is a good or bad sign. Can some one please give me some advice.

Great sign!!  Figure it this way, you are approximately 1,000 copies from becoming UND.  WTG!!

The 3.2 log drop you have had in the 1st 4 weeks is very good on just PEG/RIBA.  The next important test is at the 12 week mark. Being UND. at that time is a good predictor of success,however the protocol would be to do 48 weeks ,,seeing as you were not Undetected at the week 4 mark...

I see that you are in the UK and from what I have read for geno 1 to receive triple therapy in the UK you have to fail at SOC, do you know if they plan to introduce a third drug. That is a very good respnse to SOC however it is not RVR, I will have to look up protocol for geno 1 patients and SOC and get back with you on that or I'm sure someone who is more familiar with that protocol will chime in

I have just started treatment of Pagasy injection and ribavirin got geno 1.

What treatment are you on, triple therapy with incivek or boceprevir for geno 1's, or SOC for other genotypes, we will need this info to answer your question.
