Does anyone know any good docs in the Savannah, Ga area?

I'm considering staying with my daughter-in-law while my son is in Iraq and wondered if anyone knew of any docs who specialize in hep c, 1a in the Savannah, GA area.  It may only be for a few months, but I'm traveling and visiting while tx and need to have some things in place before I get there.
Thanks,
Wilful

I wish I knew more about Savannah but I'm sure a search on google will yield good info. The military base that I think your talking about is Paris Island, it's a nice base but the hospital there is small. If you don't find anything in Savannah I do know that Charleston SC has a great teaching hospital MUSC. Charleston is about an hour and 45 minutes from Savannah. Good luck with your search.

Too bad you're not going to be Atlanta. But, we're only 4 hours away :-)

Thanks, Trish, you have made a good point.  I will start to do some research about teaching hospitals.  There is a military base in the area--that's all I know right now.
Warmly,

I'm Canadian so I wouldn't have a clue .. I wanted to offer this though, that it just seems to often be a rule of thumb that your best bet is to seek out a teaching hospital for the better docs.  Is there anything like that in the Savannah area?  Hopefully others will have some comments for you.  Good luck with this.
