Dragon still dead...
Just got my SVR result. I am done with this bug forever! After being infected for 40 years, and having treated 7 times since 1999, several times with INF and Riba (once with non-pegylated, once with 19 months of Ingergen,) but also a course with Bocepravir, and a course with Sovaldi, I finally beat it with 24 weeks of Harvoni and Riba.
Feelin' pretty good, especially in light of being worked up for a transplant earlier in the year. Most of my side-effects have resolved (hepatopulimary syndrome and G.A.V.E.) and I am starting to contemplate a life after hepc.
And that feels very good indeed!
