Virus free liver. It's a wonderful thing. Good luck with slaying the dragon forever.
Fabulous news. A new day truly seems to be dawning.

I am GT 1a but they are having success with 1b,2,3 and are currently running a study for 4,5,6. My fibrosis was minimal for some strange reason. My blog journal describes more about it. If you can wait, I would wait. If not, I would at least hold out for the Pharmasset study which should be recruiting shortly.

I am GT 1a and treatment naive. 40 year infection. I will be in treatment for 24 weeks before I can be declared SVR. There is a 1 year follow up for this study following the 24 week dosing.
Hi curious, that is great news. Could you tell me what genotype and stage you were at prior to tx? If you don't mind. I am fighting a war with myself on tx now or waiting on something with less severe side effects. The trial your on sounds so promising.
That is just AWESOME-and free of SX-another miracle drug on its way!!!We shall whip this Dragon's A _ _ once and for all very soon !!!!! cindy
Congrats I wish you continued success and an eventual SVR.
That's truly amazing.
If I may ask, what GT are you and how long are you on this tx for?
I have been contemplating waiting on a newer tx before I tx. I am scared to death of the side effects I read about now and don't know if I can do it now. I see my hep doc on 28th to make a decision. Oh and I'm so happy for you! congrats
Curious, you may have just given me the answer to my prayers
Very nice. All eyes in the hepc community are turned towards these trials and the new antiviral compounds. It will provide a whole new generation of those infected with HCV an interferon free regiment given UND status remains durabable which increases SVR rates. Wishing you continued success.
I forgot to mention that the treatment has been pretty much side effect free.
That's a beautiful thing, Congrats. Keep it up!!
