I had my Vit. D levels tested after tx and it was a 20.3 (low), but I didn't have one run prior to tx, so have really nothing to compare to it. This test was 4 months post and after taking 800 mg. per day and spending time outdoors. Dr. said to increase it to 2000 mg, so hopefully this will help to boost it, especially with winter fast approaching.
I was taking 1400 iu and had my doc write the script for the test. My level was 17. My doc also commented that it was not a test they normally do. It seems that it is a test that you have to ask for as most docs don't normally test for Vit D

Hmm, somebody else spending their weekend listening to some very interesting info. I have been listening to The Best of the Liver Meeting from last year but I can't see the videos from this year. I have tried to register, but it requires a coupon code.
I was able to view videos at http://www.scivee.tv so it isn't a video format issue. Are there any forum users out there able to watch links posted above?
Great that we can download the pdf of the 2010 Supplemental Program!
I forgot the best one.
