'Ain't it the truth?'. But good to know there is domething withnelecyralytes without the sugar! Thanks for the heads up. Found it interesting that your dr recommendeed Gatorade even though you yphave cirrhosis. I guess they are just human. too.
I'm treating with s /o and ribarvirin The doctor told me to drink Gatorade my electolites was low I have cirrhosis and don't need much sodium but my sodium was low I thought that my self I'm gonna try vitamin water it has electrolytes I get the power grade zero Its the same as Gatorade without the sugar its next to the gratrade you just don't know what to do
i had low sodium on my baseline Lab - so thought that might be a contributing factor to needing electralytes. Glad to know - so many things to watch out for - I just never thought you could get too much water!
Oh, Candyce, forgot to call dr yesterday, re the cocoanut water. Got busy with an HOA project. Things I can do sitting down keep my mind occupied and, as a result, feel better - or at least, not concentrating on my fatigue. LOL Will call dr today. (What am I doing awake at 2:30 A.m.? - definitely not my typical style nor one of my sides. I sleep well @night). Pat
I was told to avoid Gatorade because of the sodium. Do have early cirrhosis so that may be the reason why. Agree with you that the water gets really old. They strongly suggest water with lemon (the real lemon) as that is also used as a remedy to detox the liver.
Just reread your comment, and F3-4 should avoid Gatorade.

Good to know. Thanks, Fred. Pat
My friend belongs to long distance bike ride club and her doctor suggested to drink water with lemon/lime instead of gatorade.
