Hep C Ab lab value

Hi,
I recently had a full panel STD testing completed. My Hep C Ab lab value was 0.8, which states I fall within the intermediate range and not positive. It states that a lab value > 0.9 is positive. Should I be concerned.

But the best person to ask about medical advice is Your personal physician. This is a community of patients coming together in mutual support. We cannot offer medical advice only our own experiences Of living with hepatitis C and living with the effects of treatment. Best of luck to you.

You should get the HCVRNA by PCR test and then you’ll know if you were infected or not. Then you will know if you have anything to worry about or not. Knowledge is power.
