Have you tried the HIV Forum?  You can find knowledgeable people there in HIV questions.

Just go to the top of the thread, find the blue line above the tree of helping hands and select 'Communities' . When that site come up, look for HIV and select that.  It will take you right to the site.

Good luck.

last but not the least though the question is not related with this forum but i just wanted to have your expert advice that is it possible that HIV can be transmitted through unprotected oral sex both receiving and giving if the other person is HIV infected or if there are any open cuts, wounds, ulcers or sore throat.

Thanking you in advance as this would be my last question for the day so as to cut down my anxiety to zero level.

Please do reply as would be waiting for your prestigious reply.

No need to apologize.  It looks like you have been adequately protected against hepatitis B through your vaccines. You can call the Hepatitis B Foundation in Doylestown, Pa and they will be happy to answer your questions. the number is 1-215-489-4900.

First of all i am sorry for using such words and i take my words back so please do forgive me for the same.

As you have mentioned about hep b is found in infective sexual body fluids so can the transmission of hep B is possible through unprotected oral sex secondly i have take all the three doses of Hep b vaccine around 2 to 3 years back so what are the chances of contracting hep B through unprotected oral sex.

Your reply will be highly appreciated.

Thanks & regards

As others have told you, hepatitis C is not considered a sexually transmitted infection. Blood has to be exchanged in order for hep C to be transmitted to a sexual partner. That happens mainly through rough sex or men having sex with men. If one of the partners has a sexually transmitted disease, particularly the female partner,  that raises the possibility of transmission. Hep C is not usually found in infective amounts in sexual body fluids as it is in hep B and HIV. Blood must be exchanged.
