YOU SAID: I read testing would likely show positive for C at 6 to 9 weeks.
UM no. Hepatitis C is not a sexually transmitted disease.
Thank you for your insight
Hep C is transmitted through infected blood. So infected blood has to enter your blood stream. You would have to have a cut on your hand and she would have had to be bleeding. Neither of those things seemed to happen.
Hep B can be found in amounts that are infective in sexual body fluids. Again, you would have had to have a cut on your hand and you did not mention that. I really think you are worrying needlessly.
Ok so just to make sure I understand... From these exposures I have virtually zero chance of Hep C. If she had a cut on her hand, I could have a very small chance of Hep B?
I am just saying that standard of care requires a six month post exposure antibody test to be as sure as one can be. That being said, I agree with Can-Do that there is almost no risk, especially for hep C. Hep B is found in sexual body fluids, hep C is not, so if you had a cut on your hand, there would be a minuscule chance of transmission of HBV. If you are going to continue to worry, get tested at 6 months. If you can put it out of your mind, be happy with your results at this time. They are likely your true status.
Your answer definitely does not seem as definitive as Can-Do-Man's answer. I'm slightly more worried. Than I was a moment ago.
Where is the risk? You wore a condom and you won't get Hepatitis from a "hand job",
You are likely just fine but to be absolutely certain an antibody test at 6 months post exposure is recommended.
.
Ok, I've been reading highly conflicting information about these being risks for hepatitis. It's not something I truly understand.
"My sexual activity was with a woman of unknown status.
I'm 8.5 weeks post potential exposure (vaginal intercourse with condom.)
I'm 4.5 weeks post potential exposure (hand job with no protection.)"

So your answer is NO!!!
