INCIVEK Text Message Med Reminder Program*

If I were into texting I would have done this! Setting alarms was a hassle and quite frankly never worked for me when I took Incivek.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency based upon the service for which you register.
For help, text HELP to 30695.
To cancel this service, text STOP to 30695.

From the web site:
To help you stay on track, we’ve created the INCIVEK Text Message Reminder Program. This program provides convenient reminders to help you remember when to take your medication(s). For information on data collection and use of information, please see the Vertex Privacy Policy.

By registering for this program, you can sign up to get any of the following text message reminders:

★ Three daily to take your INCIVEK
★ One weekly to take your injection
★ Two daily to take your ribavirin
    All of the above

When you register for this reminder service, you will receive a confirmation text message.
Reply DAILY to confirm sign-up for INCIVEK (telaprevir) medication reminders (3msg/day).
Reply RIBA to confirm sign-up for ribavirin medication reminders (2msg/day).
Reply INJECT to confirm sign-up for injection reminders (1msg/week).
Reply YES to confirm sign-up for all reminders (5msg/day +1msg/wk).

You will receive five messages per day, one message per week, and three messages per month based on the frequency you register for. Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions, text HELP to 30695. To stop INCIVEK (telaprevir) messages reply STOP DAILY; injections messages reply STOP INJECT; ribavirin messages reply STOP RIBA; STOP ALL for all.

To make things easier, you can always return to this site any time to register for more reminders. Fighting hepatitis C is tough enough. Our goal is to make it a little bit easier with tools and resources to help you along the way.

This program is a reminder tool to help you, the patient, remember to take your medication as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Talk to your healthcare provider about setting up dosing reminders based on your medication schedule, and remember to update your reminders when your dosing changes. It does not take the place of medical advice from your healthcare provider. This text message reminder program is a free service from Vertex. This means that Vertex does not charge you any fees to take part in the program. However, your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply. Check rates with your mobile service provider. These charges are billed and payable to your mobile service provider or deducted from your prepaid account. When you register for this reminder service, you will receive a confirmation text message.

Hey, so cool!  I had to have my husband set my cell alarm for me, but I will blame it  on the brain-fog!
I cant stress enough, to the people out there, new to Treatment,
the importance of taking the DAA (incivek or Victrelis) every 8 hrs!  This is a tricky virus, and if given too many hours, may mutate enough, so the pills are no longer effective on it. The idea is to hammer the virus, every 8 hrs!
