I've had a good day and a bad day, You decide!

I just posted up a blog post on my site here ( http://www.gregoryledet.com/?p=161 ) about my first meeting with the doctor since I started round 2 of treatment for HCV.  I wanted to pass it along here because when I was going through this the first time, you guys helped me out big time.  I got really good news on the blood work side and those results are on my blog. I also got some bad news just minutes after I woke up, so the day was kind of a wash.

Please check out my post and let me know what you think about it.  I'm trying to keep it up as often as possible while I go through this so it'll be there for those that come behind me and not know what to expect.  Also, if any of you folks getting ready to go through therapy or starting some other type of therapy, let me know if you're interested and I'll host a wordpress blog for you on my server so you can document your trip though treatment as well.

Thanks a lot guys and I hope you read my good news!!!

-Greg

I have heard of people suffering from dry eyes whilst on treatment....I never did but I did have a dry mouth most of the time during treatment.  One thing I did find was that each days side effects were different.  One day I would have a metallic taste then the next day it was gone and something else was there.    Weird stuff - treatment can be.

One thing I did want to ask. Has anyone else experienced extremely dry eyes and mouth as part of your side effect profile?  I remember the dry mouth, but never the dry itchy eyes.  It gets so bad that when I wake up in the morning I can't open my eyes because they have been dried shut.  I have to go shove my head under a sink for a while to get some moisture in there before I put some eye drops in.  And it's not only the eyes and mouth... my sinuses too.

Am I the only one?
