Labs

In my 11th week of triple tx (Vic). Did my labs this morning and most things looked good . One thing I was hoping somebody could chime in on. My AST jumped from 41 last week to out of normal range to 59.First time it's been out of normal in 5 weeks. My ALT was 41 still inside the normal range, but also up slightly from 38 ( avweek ealier). Any concern with these type of flluxuations in Alt and AST numbers? Also,  what is the Alt Phos numbers mean? Thank you for the posts !!! They have been a great sense of comfort and learning for me. Thank you all.

Good luck.  Keep us posted.  Stay 100% compliant with your med doses, and get out side for some fresh air and walking around.

Thanks, I did google it, that was the right thing to do. Not und yet. Therefore lies my concerns. Week 12 vl is on the 8-23-12. I had a apx. 2.4 log drop from week 4 to week 8. 1,600,000 @ week 4, to 4950 @ week 8. Was hoping for week 8 und but docs seem to think that week 8 number was a good indacation week 12 was possible for und. Fingers crossed, 1 more week for my vl week 12, a big day!!!!!

This could be nothing.  That type of fluctuation is normal.  When's your next test?  Keep an eye on that number specifically, and of course your VL count.  Are you still detectable at week 11?  Assuming you are UND, If you stay UND on your next test and numbers hover around the same, I wouldn't worry about it.  As for Alt Phos, you're probably better off googling it.  Hope that helps.
