I am in wk 6 of tx and was UND after wk 4. My doctor told me that I could take Milk Thistle if I wanted. Due to the first week of tx being bad, I decided to quit the milk thistle. I would not take the MT along with tx. I am taking an Immune Sys Builder to help me keep my sys in good condition.

docs will probably tell that you can do that as it can cause any damage.
But,I believe that you better not take it during Tx because it might clear the medicine too quickly from the body. As far as I know it doesn;t make sense to take milk thistle during treatement and even until 6 months until treatement.

Good luck,
Jack

From what I hear it is not okay to take milk thistle while going through tx.   Don't immediately detox the medication out when you've done either.  Better safe than sorry, wait at least six months after treatment to let the medication gradually get out of your system, if you're gonna do anything.  If you're gonna take milk thistle or other herbs do it that way until long after treatment.  Give your body time to heal after treatment to get back to normal.
