Nick Relief

My barber nicked me with the razor on my last hair cut on the back of my neck and applied "Clubman dab-on nick relief" I didnt realize that he was using it and its a mini tube with a sponge applicator in it that he had used on numerous people when he nicked them. I was very concerned that I could get hep or hiv from this, being it was used on other customers before me. I went out and bought the item to see its ingredients and there was no alcohol in it, but there is witch hazel distillate. Would this help in disinfecting the product so nothing can be spread?? Thanks

We have had a lot of people with obsessive compulsive disorder, or perhaps people making up stories who show up on this forum asking unrealistic questions.
It's made some of us skeptical.

As mentioned by everyone else, if you are concerned, get tested.

Yes, Hep C could potentially be transmitted via this route if the barber used the dabber to stop the bleeding on someone with Hep C and then used it on you to stop the bleeding from your nick.

Witch Hazel will not kill Hep C or HIV. Neither will alcohol.

As Can-do-man said, the best thing for you to do is to get tested. You can check with your doctor or the public health department and ask them how long you should wait to get tested.
