I am so glad this was brought up.. I am 4 months EOT and was UND at 3 months EOT.. It seemed when I was on TX I did not have night sweats very often..had them all the time before TX.. I kinda freaked out and was thinking that it was back because I was having then again but I was still UND. So I sure hope one has nothing to do with the other..
Is it only the women that get the night sweats? Seems like it LOL

My night sweats are caused by a half dose of Lexapro, the antidepressant. Oddly, the full 10mg dose doesn't cause night sweats for me. I think I'll have to throw away my pillows.
Yeah these night sweats can be rough.
Going to doctors on wednesday for consultation.
This will be my 3rd tx hopefully they will do it. Has anyone you know or yourself
done this 3 times. odalaigh1
i had sweating since mid of tx and remained EOT. it is not so worring. it is even good and lowering your toxicity. It may be due to ADs if you are taking. Anxiety can also cause it.
it is very normal sx of tx. Keep your self well hydreated

correction..........SVR not SVE LOL
I'm starting to get nights sweats on tx (16). I sleep with the fan on too for most of the night until turning it off in the early morning. I haven't worried about it because it doesn't interfere with my sleep very much...just feel tacky and look like heck in the morning. And need to change the pillow cases alot.
I started getting night sweats when I was about 21, 47 now. I also had the surgical menopause 9 years ago. I had the sweats before meno pause, before TX and still do but not as bad or as often. Before I got my 1 yr post PCR I kept worrying that IT was back but I am SVE and don't have a clue why I still sweat.

Prior to tx, night sweats frequently especially the last year. I would have to change by clothes. I've been txing over a year and only when running a fever do I sweat and that's after the Tylenol kicks in.
I never thought about it until now. I don't have night sweats anymore.
I had night sweats prior to starting treatment but I considered them to be hot flashes because I've been in surgical menopause since 1996 and I stopped taking hormone replacement therapy about a 2 years ago and then the hot flashes started.
My first month on treatment was hot flashes one minute and chills the next but then the hot flashes and night sweats disappeared. So no night sweats for me while on TX and I am hoping they don't return when TX ends but time will tell.
I had frequent night sweats before treating and in the beginning of treatment. Then I would only have them now and then during treatment, which was when I was running a slight fever. Now after finishing treatment, I have not had any night sweats at all.
I am really not ladybug52 anymore, I'm ladybug55goingon56.
The reason I'm telling this is because I had night sweats before during and after tx and I always chalked it up to menopause. Actually, now that I think of it, I had night sweats when I was in my early 30's and my gyn said it was due to rise and fall of estrogen.
I don't know if he was right or not, but I feel like I've had this problem forever. I sleep with a fan every night.
Good luck,
Bug
I get night sweats and in fact I feel a bit sweaty all the time. Very uncomfortable. I am not on tx yet. Not hormones. Almost like a fever.
I still have night sweats on occasion. Mainly the night I take my shot. i'm on tx peg/riba and I am currently UND . It could be hormones as well. -stacie
Before I started tx, I was having night sweats. My vl was between 919,000 and 2 million. Can't say txing has cured them....but I haven't had any throughout my 38 weeks.
Definately check with your doctor. The rheumatologist that diagnosed me questioned me about night sweating....apparently it can be a symptom.
Are you on tx? Night sweats occur in some people on tx, though I don't think a high VL necessarily causes them. There can be other causes of night sweats -- perhaps you should consult your doctor.
Good luck,
