so sorry to hear this. I need to look back at your posts again. Wishing you a better outcome next time around. AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME!
I am very sorry to hear this. His3707 is right. There will be a next time and hopefully with the famous "nuke" 7977.
Wishing you all the best.
I am very sorry to here that virus came back. It has to be deeply disappointing. I am sure there are no words to express your feelings at this time.
Please be good to yourself and give yourself time to bounce back from such a big disappointment. You are a true fighter and you gave it your best shot. Nobody can do anything more than that. I admire your tenacity and will to take on the virus despite previous negative outcomes.
Be well. Peace.
Hector
I am so very sorry to hear this news. I know it must be devastating.
However, you are a fighter and you have a very positive attitude. You have kept trying to attain SVR and you will attain SVR one of these days, maybe with the next treatment using the new drugs coming available soon.
Keep in touch and let us know any knew developments.
Best of wishes to you.
Such disappointing news. I am so sorry to hear you didn't make it. I can't imagine having the strength you have had to try tx so many times and get this news. I am glad these new drugs offer the hope that you will never have to do interferon again and you may cure with easier meds. You are an amazing person. Hoping you feel better soon.
I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't achieve SVR. I lurk here a lot, and you have been such a help to the board with your positive attitude and helpful advice. Try to stay positive, because some of these Direct acting antivirals that they are developing sound very promising.
So sorry to hear such awful news.
I will be praying that you stay strong.
Love,
Reva
I'm sorry for your disappointment. Some of us just seem to have a very macho virus. If I remember correctly you were originally in a trial with telaprevir? If you failed that I don't understand why they would put you on boceprevir? The chances of that working are about nil unless I am misundertanding something or remembering incorrectly.
It seems to me that your best bet may be a trial with no interferon, 2 DAAs and ribavirin. Don't give up the hope. Hang in there. Better drugs are coming.
Such bad news. Prayers for you.
So sorry to hear your news. I have had tx fail me twice - the trial team says that since I am a Geno 1a with the T/T allele it is difficult for me to beat this dragon with interferon and that the cure for me and others will be with the non interferon tx. They said to keep an eye out for what Abbott is working on as their non interferon combos are showing great promise. Get rest, keep faith and regain your health.
Dear R, I am so very very sorry for the VL.
I am in shock. I had hoped that all of us would reach UND...then SVR
I do not know what else to say other than I have read that Gilead is having a lot of success with the 7977 all oral.
When I relapsed after the first tx in 2008 I was devastated. Everyone here was so kind to me, so supportive.
One thing I remember from either Hector, Willbb, can-do was to rest build myself back up, get my ducks in a row and try again
Dr Dietrich also told me to wait a year to get my health and soul rejuvenated before trying again. He was very kind
My best to you
Dee
I am praying for you
Sorry to hear the bad news.
The one good thing is knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel giving hope to those who relapse because of the new oral meds currently in trial. Hopefully this new treatment will finally rid more people, of this difficult virus and will be approved rapidly.
Well sh!t, sorry to read this. But one thing for sure your no quitter. I will be courious as to what your doctor has to say as your the first that failed one PI then tried the other.
Just hang in there, you will beat this...
I am so sorry to hear this...I hope you can take some time recover from this news and your treatment...my thoughts and prayers will be with you...
I'm so incredibly sorry, you've put up such an amazing fight, and have such great spirit. Please rest, get your body and spirit strong, then look ahead to the IFN-free treatments that will surely slay the dragon next time.
Oh I am so sorry! There really aren't adequate words.
Test your body....but most importantly your spirit. We will be here for you .....
i'm so very sorry! i looked back on some of your posts. was this your 8th time treating. my god you're a strong women. i just wish you could have beat the dragon for good this time. sending you hugs and prayers. good luck in your future. belle
Sorry to hear this After this many goes at it certainly would seem the insensitivity to Inteferon is so much of a factor.
With the INF. free modalities in the pipeline .. there will be another chance ..
Stay well;
Will
hang in there rocky...good luck...billy
Devastating news to be sure......never give up hope.
Crap!
Well, rest up, get as healthy as you can and recover some. You gave it your best.
New tx coming down the road. Don't give up!
all you can do is hang tough as you have been all along. Prayers that the next tx is the cure. All the best.
A tremendous amount of love support to you. You are quite a remarkable person. Your strength and determination are amazing. Wishing you a nice dose of rest. We will be here the rest of the way with you for as long as it takes.....
I'm so sorry.
You're strength to endure so many battles is astounding. We were all hoping this would be the one, but if the medicine was hurting you it had to be stopped. I agree that something without inf may be the one..which is soonn to come.
I'm so proud of you for never giving up. You are amazing!
