Physically shaky?

Today I am physically shaky, easily frustrated and anxious; and I'm at work.  Oh joy.  I'm on triple therapy and an AD.  I do my PegInterferon on  Friday night.  I don't know if this side effect is from the interferon or not.  Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks, Sherry

Aloha you know i had those same feelings several times during my treatments.  i am on my second year.. this time with the incivek for three months..i just think our bodies go through different phases and believe me they are not on any particular schedule!!! for me, knowing that this to shall pass, has made it so much more tolerable...don"t give up...we are allowed to have horrible days...sometimes i wonder how i make it through a work week and just trying to run a houshold..and then i remember, that i leave the big stuff in gods hands.. i'm not trying to get all religious on you, whoever or whatever you believe in,does really help. pls. take care, kapua

Hi Sherry.  I find I am shaky, particularly, 2 days after the shot.  Makes me feel like I have Parkinson's, because I try to control it but can't.  Usually, it's my left hand but sometimes it seems to affect all of me for an hour or so.  This too shall pass, or at least lessen to some degree.  Can't say if it is soley from the meds, or because my HGB was also being challenged.

As for feeling good, bad or ugly during treatment......I understand the opinions.  I can't speak to the facts, one way or the other.  It's why some who feel 'good' feel 'guilty'.  The fact of the matter is simply that everybody's body, reacts differently, given their particular set of circumstances.  I'm having good days and bad days, but no horrible days to date, and still -- I am doing well on tx, thus far.  There are others having incredibly difficult times, and as awful as their journeys have been -- a lot of them are still clearing the virus.

Definitely let your doc and/or nurse know how you are feeling, as they may be able to offer guidance on this.  Gage how you feel as the week goes on, as it may diminish the further away you get from your shot day.  Best to you.

Oh   Sweetie, Hang in there.   If you just started your AD, it could possibly be that.   I have alot of experience with AD's and some of them just take a while to get used to.  Its to darn bad we just cant take one drug to fix everything.   Sighhhhhhhhhh,  I really say that with frustration as well.   Keep that head shifted up and hang on tight for a couple of weeks and let your body get used to the shock of things.     I've had the shakies before but it was because of the AD and if you experiencing anxiety that for sure will get your autonomic nervous system in an uproar and you will feel it everywhere and think you are going to crawl out of you skin or just run down the road.  Its called "Flight & Fight" mode !
Saying prayers for you.    What AD did they put you on ?

I too concur on the feeling good meds not working part.
I FEEL FN GREAT considering I am on chemo and have minimal sides.
I ask myself what's goin on is it working???
Of course it is, there is no other thought to have!  Why doubt?????
Unfortunately comments as such can definitely change the mindset of someone 12 days  in  trp tx like me, and suck the positivity right out.
Please refrain from speaking from whence you do not know, assumptions; well Less need be said.

Sherry, feel better, dear heart. The meds do all of the above. The riba races the heart our bodies are trying to hang onto that comfort blanket of disease called HCV and does not want to release its grip even after und. Our minds are interferoned out and our blood is saying wtf?  I will pray for you girlfriend. I did take myself of of Mkndays at work, at the suggestion of my physician and his nurse. Glad I did already.
Gealing thoughts sweetheart. Jan

I do my shot on thurs nights and Saturday afternoon it hits me. I. Also experience shaky feeling, almost like low blood sugar. I got my thyroid tested today so we.ll see. I agree with the post above. Just because there are no sides does not mean its not working. I had the same concern my first month but four week blood test came back UND.  It's working.

You are taking 3 strong medications that your body is struggling to tolerate, plus the AD.  It's hard to isolate which one or the combinations which could be causing this shaky, frustrated feeling.  I also do my interferon shot on Friday eve and notice that Mon/Tues are my most challenging days.  Also, some weeks are much easier than others, and as soon as I think I have it figured out, something changes.  Trt is a roller coaster ride with many surprises.

I don't agree with the post above that - the meds aren't working if you feel well.  Some experience very few sides and attain SVR and visa versa.

Mondays aren't the best day of week but hopefully your week will get better the further out from the peg shot.  On triple therapy you will generally not feel well.  If you did the meds aren't working.  I find myself light headed and shakey, sometimes it is the HGB level sometimes it's just the meds.  This is posion to your body.  Hang in there.  I was able work until the end.  Just went back to work.  Hopefully your next CBC will tell the story.  I have them weekly, it's a must for triple therapy.
