Planning to have a child

My HCVRNA test after 6 months of stopping Pegasys and Riba came out negative.I have heard that the Ribravin stays in the body for a long time.IS it ok to plan for a kid or should i wait for some more time. Plz advise.....

I was also told to wait six months after stopping treatment but I personally will wait a full year until I'm comfortable enough to try for another baby.

First  ,Congrats on your SVR!  The ribavirin labeling says to avoid prenacy for a minimim of 6 months post treatment . however I have read here that some feel more comfortable waiting up to a year.

Good luck and pre -congratulations on  a new member of  the family :)
