Possible Exposure Risk

Good afternoon everyone. I am looking for serious answers to this questions that has been worrying me for the past two days. I was at the dmv and on the table there appeared to be dried bloood (still red but didn’t look wet). I immediately didn’t touch the table but touched the transaction pen when I slid my debit card and had to e sign . Immediately I thought about my cut that I got two days ago from washing dishes. The cut was in the healing process. However that’s no all of my concern. I had sunglasses on and when I went to take my picture I could have (I’m not sure) laid it down on another counter; not the same counter as the blood. My concern is what if the same person that bleed on the first table went to that same table that I went to for my picture and did the same and I may or may have put my sun glasses down (I honestly  can’t remebr) I know I put my phone down but not sure about the glasses. Around 2 hours later I was picking up my son from my moms house and he grabbed the sunglasses and started chewing on them. He is 6 months and is teething but hasn’t had any teeth breakthrough. My concern is what if there was a little bit of blood on the sunglasses if I did not the glasses down and there was blood on it and got on the glasses and my son put them in his mouth and he had a small cut in mouth; could he be at risk for contracting hep c or anything else.

You don’t know it was blood
Only about 3% of the population has hep c so the odds of randomly encountering someone with hep c is low.

The odds this rare person left blood on a counter is low.

Hep c infected blood must enter the body of an uninfected person through an open fresh wet weeping injury not a 3 day old healing minor cut.

No you did not experience a risk nor did your son.

May I suggest you consider counseling for anxiety as it appears to me you maybe suffering from that affliction.

Best of luck
