Iam 20 mths svr and continue to have the dry eye problem, using systane.  I also have what could be liver or gallbladder pains, even though i am told the liver does not feel. I have an ultrasound every 6mths and just had an MRI of my abdomen and everything is fine.  The one thing that has changed since tx is that my liver size has returned to normal and spleen is only slightly enlarged. The MRI showed only a slight irregular surface on the right(i have stage 4 cirrhosis),this is all a substancial improverment  from earlier test dating back to 2004.  Iam just hoping all this has to due with the regeneration process, maybe wishful thinking, but my hep cannot give me any answers except everthing is much better that it was when i started tx in 2004.  I was given 3-5yrs to live if tx. did not work....Leah...Ill take a little pain with regeneration any day.  Good to be alive

Thanks for your reply.  I stopped tx Dec 6 07  In Jan. 08 experienced like a liver attack I turned TAN somewhat my skin (color light orange)  when nuts with that ..  and my stomach felt heavy and with pressure on the mouth ... I called the drs. and they just did a CMP which came out normal all my panel..  the dr. just blew me away saying they will do in April a RNA by PCR for virus ...  which it came out UND bz I thought I have relapsed.

Yes I have an Internist that did several tests:  pancreas, hormonas, lab for stools and the general CBC, CMP everything NORMAL and now just waiting again for Hep C by PCR and an ultrasound.. JULY 08  I also have an appt. with a Dr. in Alternative medicine I need to hear his opinion about my eyes.. I can't wear contact lenses which gets me sad
I don't feel there yet.. like I was before all this nightmare started... just pray if it's slow the recovery to reach the end of it where i can feel free of all this...

I looked up for your journals of post tx  but can't see them...

I have post TX sides.

Been labeled as Neuropathy (think Fibromyalgia --- no dx yet - but probably where it's heading).

Anyhow - the dry eyes issue made me think of Sjorgen's Disease - you can research that.

Much luck to you - make sure you see an internist... OK?

Don't feel alone - I'm 1 year plus a couple of months post.
