Protected sex with a sex worker and HEP C/B chances.

Hello, i have a protected vaginal sex with a sex worker.
After i became extremely anxious.
I made a testing for HIV, HEP A/B/C and other STD`s.
The result came Negative for everything.

I tested at 2,4,6,9,5 weeks.

But at around 7-8 weeks i started to feel uncomfortable under my right lower rib ( where is liver located) .
It does not hurt, but from time to time i have a feeling of heaviness there.  One day i feel it, another day not.

Again around that time i made an all STD testing including HEP A/B/C. ( at 9,5 weeks)
Hep C came as Non Reactive with a 0.01 result.  Range is <1.00 ( A , B came just Non Reactive).
I came to my doctor and showed my general blood analysis and urine, and all of them was fine ( Only too much of cholesterol).

He told that "You already done all our blood work, and everything looks ok for me. If you want we can make an ultrasound to check everything one more time".

How do you guys think, should i be anxious about possibility of getting Hepatitis? Or what are the chances of getting it? And when are test results are conclusive?
I didn`t found any specific information some resources says 8-9 weeks, some 3 month , rest 6-9 month or more.

As flyinlynn says, your chances of transmission seem very, very low. This article shares more about what Hep C is and how it's transmitted, and may help you understand the risks associated with various behaviors.

Hep c is a blood borne virus  it requires blood to blood contact to be transmitted.  While there is some risk of sexual transmission the CDC does not generally recommend the use of barrier protection for long-term monogamous couples.  There is an increased risk for those who engage in rough sex, have multiple sex partners, or in the presence of HIV.

To be 100% certain you can test at 6 months post exposure for HCV antibodies as even those with weakened immune systems will have developed enough antibodies by that time.

However, as you did not have blood to blood contact I would expect your odds of contracting hep c to be very low.

But primarily I would recommend you discuss your concerns with your doctor and follow the advice of a medical professional.

We here are not doctors or any type of medical person. We are a community of patients who have or had hep c who come together for support of each other dealing with hep c, it's treatment  and aftermath. We cannot diagnose any medical condition or diagnose any medical condition.

For answers to medical questions your doctor should be your primary source of medical information.
