Question about serotonin levels while on interferon

Hello everyone. I treated with pegasys and ribavirn back from november 08 til september 09, cleared a 6 million viral load in 4 weeks and the virus never returned....

Now, why I've decided to post here again all this time later is there is one thing that's ALWAYS had me wondering, and something I really need some kind of answers to for my own personal reasons.

I'm fully aware of common depression is among people on treatment, but is it heard of for the opposite to happen? Like serotonin level actually increase to the point of extreme happiness, optimism and motivation. I gotta say, during that time period, despite how I felt, I was happier than ever. I said to myself every day, in shock, "I'm finally happy." I had lots of focus and mental energy as well. This overall mental and spiritual well-being never occurred for me prior and hasn't returned since.

Now, at the same time of treatment, I was very strong in my faith of a certain religious persuasion. I'm trying to sort things out personally and spiritually and really wish I could know if it was the interferon actually making me very happy.

Does this happen to anyone? It would certainly answer a lot of questions for me.

Triple therapy here with INC,  In my 9th week and it has been an emotional roller coaster from hell for me.   I increased my AD and still no stability.   Desperately waiting to come off the INC and still have 4 more weeks.    I am just wondering when I am done with treatment and reach SVR if all this depression and anxiety will go away.   That would be pure Heaven for sure :)  
Other wise like his3707, North & South Poles on a daily basis !   Will beat this !

I have a friend that treated back when riba was introduced and she also said she immediately  felt better all while on treatment.   I am on an AD so I can never tell what is making me feel any particular way day by day.  North and South poles for me.
