Relpase after 6 months course of sofos plus riba

Hi, My name is pomaa and I am from Myanmar. One of my friends is suffering from hepatis C genotype 6n. His liver condition is fine and there is no cirrhosis according to the doctor. For that, he was prescribed sofos 400mg plus robavirin 1000mg for 6 weeks. After 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks, SVR is good. After 3 months completion of teeatment, the virus become appeared again. Can anybody give some ideas how should I suggest to my friend? Thank you so much.

Hello! I am so very very sorry to hear that your friend has relapsed.  It is so upsetting to go through the tx and then have it fail.  It failed, you didn't.
There are many new drugs out there.  Are you saying your friend only treated for 6 weeks?  I thought it was 8 or 12 or 24 depending on the condition of your liver.  I am probably wrong.  Someone with more experience will be a long soon.  I just saw that you posted two days ago and have no answer
