Road Trip & Energy Drinks While on Treatment

I am doing a non stop road trip from Denver to Phoenix tomorrow in a moving truck. Probably 16 hours. Has anyone taken energy drinks like 5 hour energy while on treatment?

I've taken energy drinks couple of times while on tx, and realized that they didn't help at all. In fact, after them I felt shakey and more tired. On another hand, simply drinking pure water kept me full of energy. More bathroom stops though, for sure ;)

If we plan on stopping we try to make it to Albuquerque. Just West on I-40 is the Route 66 Hotel & Casino. The rooms are very nice and it is cheap. Great restaurant, a little Blackjack and a good nights sleep. Most the time we try to drive straight through. With my wife we can make in about 13 hours. If I am by myself I can make it in 12.

Thanks for your compents. I emailed the Dr and she said do caffene and not the energy drinks unles they are all caffene.  Naps are good also.  I have done this drive so many times I could do it while napping. Haha!

I've driven that route before. It's mostly downhill.

No suggestion for the energy drinks. I surrender to naps.
