Hi all. I am male, 200 lbs, Genotype 2, 18,000 particles(highest ever measured was 58,000) at start of 3 month Ribavirin/Sovaldi. Fibroscan 10.7 kpa. I have just received the 6 month eot results. Free at last. No virus detected since 2 weeks into start of treatment last September.
ALL bloods right smack in the middle of normal. Finally, I'm a "normy". Ribavirin sucked. Big side effects, mainly anemia.
So glad I am done. I am beginning to feel more energy that I have had in years! I'm 63 years young. YAY! Leagh88

You know life is not always fair.
I'm so saddened to hear this and almost in disbelief
You've both done everything right and to no avail.
I'm so very sorry.
Know you are both in my thoughts and prayers❤️

Hi All
It's been a while since I last posted that my husband had finally reached SVR12 after his 6 months of Harvoni. We were so excited to know he was finally cured of this terrible Hep C virus.
But it was not meant to be. Two months later (week 20 post treatment), I noticed he was having old familiar symptoms (HE) so I asked his doctor to retest him and my worst fears were realized - his Hep C was back. I don't think I need to tell you how disappointed we are.
We believe he will be starting a new treatment sometime  in July (Sovaldi and Daclatasvir). This will be his fourth attempt to rid himself of this virus.
We ask for your good thoughts and hope that this time he will finally beat this monster.
