Hi all. I am male, 200 lbs, Genotype 2, 18,000 particles(highest ever measured was 58,000) at start of 3 month Ribavirin/Sovaldi. Fibroscan 10.7 kpa. I have just received the 6 month eot results. Free at last. No virus detected since 2 weeks into start of treatment last September.
ALL bloods right smack in the middle of normal. Finally, I'm a "normy". Ribavirin sucked. Big side effects, mainly anemia.
So glad I am done. I am beginning to feel more energy that I have had in years! I'm 63 years young. YAY! Leagh88
You know life is not always fair.
I'm so saddened to hear this and almost in disbelief
You've both done everything right and to no avail.
I'm so very sorry.
Know you are both in my thoughts and prayers❤️
K
Hoping the best for both of you and that this time will be the one

Stay strong and this time will be the one! I am so sorry that it didn't "take" last time but the 2 of you are troopers and the treatments just get better and better
Sending all my best wishes for an easy treatment and for you to finally be able to say SVR! at long last
~ Linda
I agree with Idyllic, I remember how damn hard it was for you and am so grateful you are SVR!
