SVR12! I am cured!

Well, actually SVR 15 but I just got word today that my last labs showed undetected 15 weeks after EOT

Whew, so happy and overwhelmed with the race to get here.

I cannot thank you enough, my brilliant and resourceful fellow Heppers. Without your support and encouragement, this long road would have been so much more difficult to bear.

You are my heroes, my friends, my confidantes and my cheerleading squad!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening to all my rants and worries and for being there for me. A special and deeply heartfelt appreciation to those who suffered earlier barbarous treatments so that someone like me could be cured.

Isaac Newton, the great physicist and astronomer, said, “If I have seen farther, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.”

Awe, this is such HAPPY NEWS!!  Truly inspired to see how you and so many others have managed to ride the wave so brilliantly and have a new chance to live life. This is your moment and you've earned it! BRAVO!!!

I've been making adjustments to try to recover during  this past year since the Cure. Just today I had a follow-up visit with Dr. Terrault over at UCSF hadn't seen her in over a year. It's a whole new level of healthcare over there and I'm just taking it in with gratitude.  I just became eligible for Medicare/United Healthcare recently so no longer with kaiser YAY! Now have a primary care doctor at UCSF China Basin clinic, I've been waiting a long time for this moment. Keep in touch, I'm not on this site very much because life gets busy.  I was just coming back home from the City and saw your post here today.  Cheers to you! without alcohol gladly!

Yes! I'm thrilled for you. What a relief that had to have been to hear the word, "undetected." I had a feeling after your last labs that you were in the clear.

Anyhow, I couldn't be happier for you. You have gone through so much and deserve this.
