Have you had an HCV PCR to see if you have Hepatitis C?
They can also determine your genotype if the right code is used.
Also you might want to start your own thread - that way more people might see and respond.
Alpha 2 Macroglobulin 503 high
Haptoglobulin 120
Apolipoprotein 148
Bilirubin 0.4
GGT 13
ALT 33 high
Fibrosis score 0.49
Fibrosis stage F2
I received blood with the birth of my daughter the year before they began testing for Hep C. I received a letter from my Dr. 8 years later informing me to have my blood checked because my donor had been rejected for anymore donations. I just got these scores in August 2015.
Hey, if were comparing numbers:
My fibrosis score was stated as Fo-F1.
Alpha 2 Macroglobulins 233
Haptoglobin 155
Apolipoprotein 144
Bilirubin, total 0.6
GGT 29
Alt 60
everything is within the normal range except ALT. My test shows normal range for ALT to be 0-55, so at 60 it is not too high.
These results were 7 months post treatment, and after relapse. Things appear realaviely close to what they were before treatment. My biopsy at that time showed no fibrosis, but some beginning damage ... kind of what this test shows.
My thoughts (prayers) are that my liver is in good enough shape that I can wait a few years until the new and improved medicines are out.
I hesitated to share my fibrosure results with you because I don't want you to think that your liver stage is the same as mine. However, until someone else comes along to shed some light on your question I'm going to give you my fibrosure numbers.
I was staged at F2
Fibrosis score 0.54
Alpha 2 Macroglobulins 497 high
Haptoglobin 46
Apolipoprotein 151
Bilirubin, total 0.4
GGT 10
Alt 13
Your enzymes are high. There must be inflamation going on.
I hope these numbers help you. They were very similar to mine except for the enzymes which indicate inflamation.
when snook-man comes on here maybe he can help you i think he just had one done,
I'm sorry but I have no clue what that means. I hope that someone will come along and provide you with sanswers. Good luck.
