Merry Christmas....great news!
I know the how hard it can be to make the decision to end tx early...I'm happy for you that it paid off.
Please let us know the status of your healing in the future. There is a lot of debate as to how much healing will take place. I believe that you can make a complete recovery from mild cihrrosis if you treat your body right. I read an article that said that your liver will reabsorb fibrosis and scar tissue in the abscensce of HCV and/or damaging behavior.
Love the name you created...loosenup...says alot about you! have a great holiday!
Such a wonderful news. Take care and enjoy life.
Joy. What a great Christmas present and gives me hope - thanks for sharing. Wishing you the best HCV free life ever. jankar
That is great news, with that kind of luck vegas sounds like the place to go........ Just remember what happens in vegas stays in vegas. :0)

I also wonder how you feel know did you get any problems from tx like thyorids or something, and if you ever do a biobsy again please post the result from that .
Good luck in Vegas!!!!
God bless.

I'm thrilled for you, particularly being stage 4. We play the odds as best we can while we're on treatment, making all sorts of difficult decisions as we go along and doing the best we can. I'm very glad that this worked out for you and it does add a post of hope to those who stopped early for whatever reason. Truly enjoy the rest of your life and best wishes to you.
Trish
You are one lucky gal. Your sides must have been pretty drastic to quit at 36. I am happy for you. This is one for the record books.
frijole
whoo hoo!!!!! Yippe kai A and whatnot !!
Now that's worth doing a Christmas jig around! Congrats!! You REALLY dodged a bullet x2 there, what with the stopping early AND type 1a.
it gives us all hope....thanks for letting us share your joy!

Wonderful, congratualtions!

You are one lucky woman! Congratulations!
"I had a 1 pt something drop after 4 wks"
If you by this mean that you had only a 1 point something log drop after 4 weeks, this should also give hope to those who initially respond slowly to tx. Amazing that 36 weeks did it for you!
According to your stats, you could not have shortened treatment. But obviously you had chance on your side and this is really beautiful!!!
I can't help but wonder what week I did become undetected. I remember arguing with the nurse to do a VL test at 8 weeks....but no. By the way, my beginning VL was 1,250,000. If you're a 1a and RVR then tx can shorten to 24 wks. But what about if you're und at 6 wks.....can you stop tx at 36 wks? I took my chances on that one. Thanks you guys for all your good wishes. Means a lot. Now I have to pack for Vegas.

I'll bet that gave you big ole boost orleans!!!
That's terrific! What was your VL to start? I have seen some threads about low VL w/RVR
1a's having a good chance of clearing at 24 weeks.
How are you doing six months after TX?
What a relief, you deserve a victory dance!
How scary it must be the minute before you get the results?
Wishing you a happy holiday and a healthful New Year.
Connie
Well, that is just WONDERFUL!!!!! I am so happy for you. Congratulations to your hard earned SVR!!!
Ooooooh yes; sweet!!
Congratulations on a good job; this gives so many people hope. This makes me smile :o).
Wonderful news. It's a spin of the roulette wheel isn't it? You are SVR, having stopped tx early and stage 4. WOW!! That is certainly one for the record books. Wishing you continued good health and enjoy your SVR.
