TREATMENT: WEEK 1 COMPLETE!

Triple Tx with Incivek...........................So far, so good!

Nausea and fatigue comes and goes.  The rash appeared on my elbows, day four.  It's spreading pretty fast.  So, it looks worse than it feels.

I'm using Gold Bond Medicated Cream on the skin rash.
I'm using Tucks on the "other" rash.

I'm so grateful to everyone for sharing their knowledge on the board.

Thank you, Thank you........Thank you!

Ah...Keith...thanks!  I did not know about detergent and laundry sheets.  Never thought about it.  But, heck, with this rash, I am pretty much naked all the time anyway.  Haha.

Me too, Caught.  Just took my 2nd shot half an hour ago. So far so good. No sides at all except for a rash.  Let's DO this, sista!

Study dos told me to stay out of the sun as much as possible and if you do go out to wear a high spf hypoallergenic sun screen. Sounds like you have everything else they told me to under controll except you should also be using a free of everything detergent for your clothes and absolutely no dryer sheets.

You and I are about at the same place in treatment.  Are you using Victrelis or Incivek.  I haven't had the nausea but the rash came 2 days after my first injection.  I've learned a lot from this list and my doctor about dealing with my rash.  I'm showering and shampooing once every 3 days and asking my husband if I smell bad.  Poor guy.  I've spend ~$60 on lotions and cleansers for sensitive skin and am using lotion a couple of times a day.  I'm not taking long hikes until I figure out if the rash reactivates with heat and sunlight.

Like all of you, I'm doing what it takes to make this work.
