Trial Abbott M13-099

Has anyone been in the first phase of this trial? I am trying to find out more about it, I have read all the literature they have sent me and read everything I can find on line, but still have some questions.
In this trial you still have to take interferon and ribavirin. so I am wondering if the m13-099 is along the lines of incviek. I can't find any info.on the results of the first phases...paper work gives the number of how many have been given the drug, but not the percentage that clear.
Screening starts in 2 weeks and I am on the list. Perhaps I will get more info then, but if anyone has any info I would like to hear about it.
It is so great to read this site and see all the people that are clearing the virus.
Still hopeful.

Thanks for that information. I was also e-mailed a consent form today, not to sign, but to give me more info. After reading it I do see it is interferon free.
I do have cirrhosis, but my labs are good.
Screening is to start in about two weeks. I have everything crossed fingers, toes, eyes...
Good luck to you too!!!I hope you get in the trial.

Im a bit confused here M13099 is Abbotts trial ID number-its called turquoise2. The clin trial.gov identifier is NCT01704755. This trial is interferon free and  for cirrhotics, the first cohort is now recruiting I think.
Results for the aviator study-same protocol but non cirrhotic gave results in the 90% range-even for null responders. Its a good trial so good luck to you.

Im waiting for this trial also.
