Viekira Pak after treatment

Hello all, I am on last week of Viekira Pak treatment, after 4 weeks UNDETECTED,  through all treatment didn’t had any side effects and every day looks like that I have more energy. The question I have, after treatment I need to go to the dentist but I am bit afraid because he will use painkillers and it could react with Viekira pak drugs which it will be still in my blood. I know it will be after treatment, but do anyone knows when it safe to do so, that Viekira Pak drugs will not weaken their strength.

Tom, I had dental surgery during treatment. You need the painkillers, believe me

Just check with your doc. And just use just what you need to get through the pain. (couple of days?)

I don't know how your platelets look but your dentist should know if they are low. Your liver team will know what to do and can give your dentist a call or email outlining her reccommendations

Congrats on being undetected and almost done with treatment!

I wish you SVR soon!

Hi, Tom.  I do not have an answer for you, but suggest you call the AbbVie support number ( look on the AbbViewebsite) and ask them.  I am sure someone there has that information.

Good luck and on to SVR! (And good dental care!)

Blessings,

Pat
