Viral Load 1 million count per...

I'm told I'm positive Hep C & the VL was 1 million count. I'm getting an ultrasound on the 5th &  tests to determine Genotype. I  thank all the active participants & info. I am  scheduled a liver biopsy next. I had never heard or known about this until a few weeks ago.  blood transfusions for C-sections  back in 81 & 84. Could I have had it that long and not known?
Prayer For Healing
Lord, I believe you have designed & created me therefore you can also repair & restore me. In the comfort of your love I pour out to you the memories that haunt me, the anxieties that perplex me, the fears that stifle me, & the sickness that prevails upon me. I confess my frustration in dealing with the emotional, physical, & spiritual pain of my life. Help me envision your gentle touch upon my being as you tenderly enclose me in your care. Give me inner sight to see you companioning me every step of my earthly journey. I trust your care will yield peace to my mind, serenity to my heart, renewal to my spirit, & healing to my body. For all the ways you are already answering my prayers, I give you praise & thanksgiving. From "Healing Prayer; Spiritual Pathways to health & Wellness" by Barbara Shlemon Ryan

Yes Hep C can have no symt for years! I'm in the same boat and may have had it since early 80's!

I just loved your beautiful prayer...needed to hear that today, thanks.
God bless you on your healing journey.

Please try to remember that the biopsy will be completely relatively painful - don't let it scare you!  We all were nervous before it and just couldn't imagine something like that wouldn't hurt.  It is so IMPORTANT to get the information that it provides. The ultrasound and viral load aren't really all that big in terms of info in deciding if you need to treat and the geno decides for you how LONG you treat for.

Treatment totally is no fun - but many many of us find that we still have a pretty good quality of life while on it.

Best of luck,
