Good, glad to hear it. I hope things go smoothly for you, good luck!
Finally got my meds...woohoo!!! MA had a wrong diagnosis code for me. My nurse at Mayo said they have no clue what they are doing down there LOL Can't wait to start...sure hope it works for all of us :)
There are many ways to get tx'ed for HepC without the government. Go to this link, should be the application itself. Give them a call first, to make sure all is still moving forward. good luck

I was told by a specialist that if my medical insurance goes belly up and I lost my good job, I could seek assistance from Roche Pharmaceuticals. Google that.
MN Medical assistance denied claim for incivek because they are not covering it for any MA patients. Mn has had the best medicaid coverage of anywhere I have ever been and I moved here for Mayo and the ins. I contacted vertex today and they are starting on my claim to appeal. So damn disappointing :(
i found the drug co's donated my meds back in 2005 - i would try that- or find a non-profit liver group or research?
also you can move and medicaid goes with. i would never treat again without being at family or friends- maybe you can get out of state temp???
I have no idea why I was denied. Stupid Mn Government is in a shutdown but their website says they are still running as usual pretty much. The vertek website says program for those without insurance and make less than 100,000 dollars...but I have MA through the state. It is like medicaid. I have no clue. So stressed out about this and can't do anything until Monday.
cirrhosis is not a contraindication to treatment so wth is right - be sure to check the link posted above
You need to find out why or who denied you. If it was because the state disability program won't pay you need to check the Incivek website and see if Vertex will provide you with the meds. But first you need to know why you were denied.

why did "they" say you were denied.
