Water consumption

Everyone knows to drink a lot of water to help with sides. I always do.

But I'm curious, what happens when you don't? Has anyone ever neglected/forgot/been too busy to drink their two or three litres a day? What was the result?

I have read that drinking water helps keep you hydrated, helps with skin reactions or fluid retention due to medications, and helps flush toxins.  At a minimum, I would recommend drinking eight 8-oz. glasses of water per day.

i was definitely more achy when i didn't drink enough water.  i noticed it so i made sure to always drink more water than i needed.  having to go to the bathroom all the time was a small price to pay to feel better.  good luck to you.  belle

I always drank plenty of water. After treatment I wasn't so thirsty anymore and had to remind myself to drink. One day I was really busy at work, about mid-day I started getting sick and told my superviser I had to go home, I picked up my water bottle when I went to leave and saw there was hardly none gone. It has never happened again; I'm convinced I got sick from not drinking my water.

I tried with mega water and without. The only difference I noticed was not having to pee every 10 minutes.

Ditto what the others say and I can see it (and feel it) in my skin. Even if I am not into drinking water I eat foods packed in water (watermelon) or drink decaf iced tea.

I can tell you when I began to feel like sh!t was when I wasn't drinking enough water. Someone else can tell you the medical implications.
If nothing else it helps to flush your system of these strong meds.

I felt more foggy headed and lethargic and became constipated.
