aftereffects
good to hear others have lingering aches after combo treatment
after 20 wks, the side effects were too much. riba dose had been adjusted but hemoglobin count was below 70 hcv was undetectable at 12 wks initial viral load 4.3 mill. they figured hep was around over 40yrs. in me b4 detection. Now it feels like I,m still going thru withdrawl has there been any studies on aftereffects

Bob...you are so right about this being a **** shoot and I know there is so many people out there that have lived along time and die of something else. However...there is alot also that die from this related to hep c somehow and I'm with you...I'm going to do the BEST I can and thats all you could ask for. Sorry to hear you are having some problems with the family and pray things work out for you! God Bless~

They both were iv users in the 40's and early 50's both jazz musicians and both were boxers and always stayed in shape between bouts with drugs. The drummer got clean in about 1950 after 2 yrs in prison and never ever used drugs again and always ate very well and trained religiously. The other one was on and off drugs till about the 70's he spent 10 yrs in San Quinten and Fulsom prison. He has been clean for many years now. I would say they both got HepC between 56 & 45 yrs ago.
What I am saying I feel this is a **** shoot in some ways. It has to do with Genetics, GOD, Attitude and alot of other factors. We just can go in fighting do our best and let it be, what ever the outcome. JUST DO YOUR BEST.

thanks for the info . even tho tx was terminated early, most recent bloods show no change in alt (almost normal) as to water consumption my new nickname is the camel that is better than the flake (due to severe dry skin ) always ate healthy and drank tons of water but now even more . this dragon is one i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy .it throws areal curve to my socalled golden years

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT STUDIES, BUT I WAS ON TX IN 2001 AND IT SEEMED LIKE IT TOOK ALMOST A YEAR,,UNTIL I DIDN'T HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS,,,THIS IS SOME STRONG STUFF,,KEEP ON DRINKING LOTS OF WATER!!!!!!!!!! THAT WILL HELP TO FLUSH IT OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM
