Hepatitis C is transmitted by blood to blood. So it's possible a cat could have blood on there claws and puncture you and you could become infected. I think there is a extremely rare chance of this happening due to one fact that cats are scratching and cleaning there claws all the time. Hepatitis C can live outside the body for approximately 4 days. I wouldn't put much thought into getting Hepatitis C from a cat who scratched you. Again, if your still are concerned..... get tested for Hepatitis C.
Again, Hepatitis C isn't that easy to get. You have to get the active Hep C
virus in your blood stream. That's some what difficult because your blood flowing out not in.
