Just got my results, at 12 wks after end of treatment, UND, I am cured.
Finally!   Yay!

No more tests, wow! Congratulations. Are you feeling any better or any different now? Tomorrow is my last pill of 12 weeks Harvoni. I'm really excited to see how I feel off the meds and without this virus! Hopefully without the virus forever. Have to wait 12 weeks.

Great news for U and all who have reached SVR.  Those of us who are still on tx and waiting for the end results, I pray for all of us to be SVR also. I am 4 1/2 weeks into Harvoni and blood work results @ 4 weeks was UNDETECTED. 8 weeks to go and feeling very hopeful. I guess the big test is 12 EOT. I hate rushing my life, but I want this GONE BABY GONE!!! I will keep all of you in my prayers. Liz

My specialists have said I will not have to be tested any more!  Done!   no reason to test again, EOT at 12 wks and undetected is cured.

Hey!  The Week12SVR is the new standard, especially on Gilead meds.  The old standard, when INF in so,e form was involved was 24 weeks post EOT to be sure.

Those who are Gt3 should still be tested at 24 weeks because a Gilead study showed that was the only gt which showed relapse AFTER 12 weeks.  So Gt3s are still tested 12 and 24 weeks post tx.  

Having said all that, there are still some doctors, who are careful and test at 24 weeks post anyway.  I, being the hard head that I am - as well as a Gt 3. want the tests at 12, 24 and 52 weeks post tx, 'just to be sure' , BUT I will claim my SVR24 as cured, IF I am still undetected when I get there!  (2 more weeks from today to post EOT 24 and 2 wks and 2 days til my EOT24 Labs are drawn! : -) Here's hoping!).

So happy for you! I have less than two weeks left of Harvoni and then wait for my 3 month EOT VL test. Isn't there a second test done after about 6 months to be absolutely certain of the result of tx?
