"stronger drugs"? I was on Interferon and Ribiviron.
Now I notice that you were on the INF as well. Maybe being on your treatment for only 12 weeks was tougher on the body!
My 72 weeks was kind of a lab error or something like that... my labs came back for the first few times they check - consistently with a lower viral count... suddenly one lab test came back with a higher count so the nurse said it seems I was a non-responder after all those 35+ weeks!!! UGH!!! She said to finish off the last of the treatment I had as it would be good for my liver anyways and we did another viral count = came back with a lower viral count.
She said the good news is it seems that the last test may have been a lab error. The bad news is we have to start the week count from today! So I did another whatever count from there totaling 72 weeks.
At that time... when I contacted whatever pharma nurse to tell them of the sides I was having long after and I mentioned I was on their INT for 72 weeks she/he (I forget) was absolutely shocked! That nurse had never heard of anyone on INT for 72 weeks! *** I don't know about that because on this site so many have been on it for 72 weeks in the old days...
So I should take it back about the "stronger drugs" thing. All our bodies are different and we all react in different ways.
One thing I wanted to say and forgot to add yesterday that keeps me going... (well there were many things (lol))... even though my condition is not all that great and I do make the most of my new life there are many many many others out there who have it much worse!
Again, I am lucky that I was born being an optimistic (together with a realists). This has greatly helped me.
Reading that you are into music I can recommend the ambient music of Brian Eno to maybe help relax you. Neroli is one of my favorite pieces. It has been implemented in some maternity wards to create calm.
The yoga book I wrote about is by Richard Hittleman. YOGA - 28 DAY EXERCISE PLAN. Many libraries have it and it is easy to find in used book stores.
I do have a couple questions that you can answer or can pass on.
Where are you living? What country?
Why are you living in a hospital?
If these questions are too personal or you are not ready to discuss them no problem.
take care and hope you are have a great day,
frank
I try! Sunshine and smiles always help - and I have been so blessed I always want to share. Blessings and peace today? P
thanks patra! You bring sunshine in this thread :)
Do you have any control over your menus? 'It seems somehow to depends on what I eat.'. Yes, it can. You need a liver friendly, balance diet, with some kind of schedule. Thus my question, do you have sny control over you menus?
And no need to apologize for how you were feeling - we understand. Try to eat healthy, fresh fruits, veggies, especially green leafy ones, cut down or stay away from red meats, cut oout/ down on salt and sugar. Those should all help.
Wishing you beautiful sunrises, butterflies and a beautiful, happiness filled day today.
Hugs and big smiles!!! Pat
