hep c hiv questions

Hello everyone  Iwas wondering if i could ask a question
I suffer from arthritis and inflamation  A  few weeks back  a friend of mine talked me into going to get some korean wet cupping therapy Hoping it would help my arthritis What the woman did was put  glass cups on my back sucked the skin up then remove the cups and used a lanclet pen to make multiple punture marks on my back then reapplied the cup and sucked out blood which she wiped off with tissue paper saying it removes toxins from the blood my friend was having it done at the same time by her  so she was going back and forth between us I noticed she had  no gloves on So i started to become alittle nervous I asked her if the cups are sterilized between  clients she said yes with some type of light I asked her if the lanclets are changed she said yes then after she was done she put vaseline on the cup mark with her bare hand reaching into the container that she uses on everyone I also wonder if the lanclet holder is sterlized  between clients even if the lanclet is changed what does anyone think my risk might be?

If there was a risk that hepatitis c infected blood could have entered your blood stream this could be considered a risk of transmission. Is this a licensed facility in the US? If so they are required to uphold universal health safety standards to prevent the transmission of blood borne virus like hepatitis C.

In order to contract hepatitis C blood that is infected Ted with the hepatitis C virus must enter the blood stream of an uninfected person.

For other conditions ask in the appropriate forum. Bear in mind there are no medical people here. This forum can neither diagnose or make any medical recommendation. This is a community of patients coming together for mutual  support while dealing with living with and treating hepatitis C

For medical advice or recommendations you should speak with a medical professional like your own personal physician.
