"I finished tx lmonth ago, I'm geno 1, second try.  Iam und. for the first time,"

As stated in the other thread the short answer is no, as of right now you are undetectable, if you are still undetectable at 6 months post treatment, you are considered SVR or cured, you will always be positive for hep c antibodies but that doesn't mean you still have hep c, hope that helps.

Have a great day

I think you could be positive with no viral load. I had 0 viral at 1 month after treatment started. But with GT 3 I have to stay on for 6 months because it could still be in my blood but NOT detected by the blood test thats why you will get retested in 3 months.. after finishing treatment. Undetectable at this point means they test can't detect it but could still be in you???

Last month I tested positive for the Hep c antibodies and negative for the viral load.  Finally had my dr appt today and he said that if I test negative again in 6 months that it could have been a false positive or that I may have come in contact with the virus but my body cleared the virus on it's own.  In 6 months if I test negative, I will always carry the hep c antibodies but I won't have the virus, so yes, it is possible.

You don't have HCV, you are only AB positive, so no it is not possible.

Not hrsepwrguy but what he is talking about is the antibodies for Hep C. Anyone who has treated and now cured or their immune system beat it back will always have the antibodies but not the active virus... Hope this helps.

BTW the antibodies causes no harm.
