Awesome news. I'm thrilled to hear about your UND, your doctor appt, your insurance coverage....best weapon in your arsenal has been you yourself. I too am very appreciative of how much you give of yourself around here while you're fighting your own dragon. We are certainly all in this together and I'm definitely rooting for you as you keep on keepin' on .... buttercup. :)
Will look forward to hearing more after you've seen your doc .. way to go on aggressively managing your own journey through this, Trinity.
All the best.
Trish
Congratulations!! Good luck on your journey, what ever that may be. God Bless
Great news, good luck on the road ahead!

As for your trips to Atlanta, I was never good at sucking it up, buttercup, for long distance car rides until I discovered books-on-dvd. And then my destination seemed to arrive too soon.
Wish we could all send you some dvd's for your monthly trips to Dr. Pearlman. Think how heated a debate there'd be, if as a group, we had to reach a consensus on what you'd like best.
Here's to sucking it up and hugs.
Angels on your pillow.Congratulations on your so so DESERVED news.God Bless You on your travels ahead to get to your Final Destination.SVR !

Congrats! on the getting to the UND it’s been a real nail biter eh! Looks like you’ll be riding the freight instead of the bullet train.

What a wonderful relief for you. You finally got the Dragon by its tail. Hang on because my heart goes out to anyone doing 72.
Wishing you lots of love & strength,
Connie
Thank you to all - I'm cautiously optomistic. Good news, I have an appointment with Dr. Brian Pearlman in Atlanta on Oct 6th, my insurance covers it and I can live with a 5 hour round trip once a month. CA mentioned a more senstive test, and he's right. I will ask Dr. Pearlman about that on the 6th. I'd hate to extend tx if I'm really not UND but I'll take this for now and see how it goes. I could not have gotten this far without you guys. I'm not going to go sentimental on you, just know my heart is filled with love and gratitude. Everyone in their own way has pushed me through the bad times when all else has failed. I needed you and you were there. What more can a girl ask for!
And as Trish so eloquently stated in one of her threads: "Does this mean suck it up buttercup" I love that phrase and will start my new adventure with those words of wisdom.

I'm very interested in Comeagain's comments and glad he went out on a limb and raised the issue of sensitivity. I, too, was only tested with a qualitative 50, which my nurse says is 'perfectly' fine. I'm contemplating secretly going off to be tested privately but am not sure what purpose this would serve, practically.
Trinity, will you be asking for a more sensitive test if you see the Atlanta doctor and do you think at the end of the day, you would change your decision to pursue treatment one way or another?
Congratulations again on your results, as well as your strength, perseverance and generosity with others. I'm still amazed that you've worked full-time through all this and held your own through the forum's sometimes raging debates.
Good news happy for you!!
I would have prefered a more sensitiv test though.
When was you earlier pcr was it week 12?
You dont now for sure which week you cleared am i right?
There was a study were they rechecked samples used in a earlier study were they have used this <50 test .
The people they checked were relapsers that hade been considered UND in the first studie, but when rechecked and dont remember if it war some ,many or all but with the more sensibul testes showed they were in fact not UND.
Zazza probebly got the link you can pm her if you want it.
ps the people how had relapsed was just doing 48weeks ,so if you gonna do 72 this is maybe not interesting for you.
Take care
