spleen

Do any of u have enlarged spleen.  I am 6' tall and 225lbs.  My spleen is 14 cm for a year now and I am having some pain.  The doctor tells me that is normal upper limit size for the spleen for a male of my height and not to worry about it.  Have any of u experienced pain with an enlarged spleen and if so how enlarged was it.

I was also diagnosed with 14 inch spleen recently, have chronic anemia, but was told the spleen was not enlarged, I am just overweight.
I hope you get some answers.

My spleen swells, and I dont have any infections and they dont know why. It hurts very bad at times, and sometimes you can even see a lump on my upper left side from it. The drs dont know why its swelling and dont really seem to care. I have terrible abdominal pain all over as well and they dont know why. I dont know whether to go to another dr and make them figure it out or suck it up.

Well Hubby's is 19 cm and he is 5'10" 180 lbs (not sure if body size has anything to do with it). He does not have pain but it is swollen and he has cirrhosis.

I have a normal sized spleen, I think, but I flagged someone who I think, by all reports, has a big ol' spleen and likes to talk about it.
