still UND at 6 1/2 months !!!!!!!

Hey there fellow slayers!
...just a little update on my status...i am still undectable...i really do believe this incivek is healing stuff!

i was only on it for 10 weeks...SOC for 11 weeks...

its been 6 & 1/2 months and still UND.  I will test in May, then in August.  My doc says i can pretty much consider myself SVR at that point.

My liver WAS at stage 2, no liver scaring and 30 years of being infected. I believe my liver is going to fully repair.

Also, I am just about feeling back to complete normal except for my hair is still falling out and i still have a slight issue with anxiety, not too badof a price to pay at this point!

All in all...The blessings of this miraculous protease medicine really did pay off!  I would have NEVER gotten through the 10 weeks that i did with out the help of all you guys on here.
Thank you all sooooo much for your LOVE and SUPPORT.

Congratualtions on still being UND at 16 weeks (I think) after end of treatment. That is really good news.

Hopefully you will maintain this UND status at 24 weeks after end of treatment (SVR!) Looks like May will be the SVR month for you.

Hoping we all get to SVR.

Hi,
Thanks so much for the update! I am thrilled for you.

Also for the comments about the hair and the anxiety issue. I am 3 months post tx and me too!

I go in tomorrow for blood tests to verify my status due to a persistent rash. I will let everyone know the results.

Good luck and on to SVR for you!

It seems the hair falling out sx happens at different intervals with everyone. My scalp hurt during treatment soooo bad to touch.  It was only after a month off did it really start to fall out in clumps, so now only need an iddy biddy comb to hold it up is all that's needed.  Wonder if anyone woman has actually gone completely bald from this treatment?  I have heard of a few men loosing all their hair, but they were already predisposed to going bald anyway.  Oh well, there is an assortment of crazy halloween wigs in the closet...just in case!

Carolyn I just saw this post!  I am so very very happy for you. I had and continue to have the same problem with scalp pain and hair loss though I am 7 weeks after tx.  I am really excited for you and know you will SVR.  Look how far you have come since we first met on line.  So very proud of you.  I am trying to think that this has helped me to better understand others with disabilities.
