sx

I am in the Telaprevir trial... first time tx. I am starting my 19th week was UND by the 4th week that I know of. My sx were the same as many that have been mentioned but I have been able to work every day and still go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I find that cardio workouts have been a big help for me.

My sx now are brain fog... hard to concentrate and remember things like what I read. I also find that I can get pretty irritable at times and need to put myself in check...every day has it's challenges, but I thank God for His grace to me through this time of tx.

Good to hear you are hanging in. I am thinking about the 24wk group but don't want to get to hopeful. I have another PCR test scheduled for the end of June just around the 24wk mark.

I will keep you up to speed. Take care.

Hi, I'm still hanging in there and doing better now the Telaprevir is done.  My riba has been reduced for 6 weeks now so the brain fog is not so bad anymore.  Although, the irritability is bad and find myself being very short with people.  I have asked my husband and friends to not pay attention to my crabbiness and overlook it.  They said they will and understand.  Yes, I find myself biting my tongue and having to control my temper.

I too have been able to work everyday, although some days were rough.  Consider myself very fortunate also.  Hopefully its almost over for us if we get placed into the six month group. Still UND at week 17.  Yeah !

Let us know as soon as you find out what group you will be in.  Take care!
