A solar flare on January 20, 2005 "

I will have to try and find the article but there was now a bigger one than that luckily it was on the other side of the sun so didn't hit us.

As for the planets and moon it said that yes in addition to the sun and it's things when the planets line up with the moon and sun in such a way it pulls at the earth and it's seas and stuff causing all sort of problems. Add in the El Nino to the seas and yes rough weather is definitely coming.

I find it interesting that lately on the SyFy channel there have been all sort of movies about CMEs too (not that they are real of course).  Makes you wonder if those Myans knew something because the El Nino is supposed to last until mid-2011 at least and possibly the sun stuff until 2017. I believe that is what it said.

I dont think tho the alignment of the planets will destroy earth, but i do believe we are in for a rough ride in the upcoming years with all the strange weather.Solar bursts can knock out satille systems and without communication,we mabye in trouble

Solar flares release a cascade of high energy particles known as a proton storm. Protons can pass through the human body, doing biochemical damage.[3] The proton storms are produced in the solar wind, and hence present a hazard to astronauts during interplanetary travel. Most proton storms take two or more hours from the time of visual detection to reach Earth's orbit. A solar flare on January 20, 2005 released the highest concentration of protons ever directly measured,[4] taking only 15 minutes after observation to reach Earth, indicating a velocity of approximately one-half light speed.

I think that yes the world could come to an end but not all the driving through an entire city / world that is falling down but nobody else could get out of the way - like Jon Cusak did.

I look at the changes in the weather patterns lately and the huge earthquakes and I think something is up. The sun is entering a huge time in it's life where we had almost zero sunspots recently now we are having huge coronal mass ejections - one of the biggest EVER recorded recently.....and I think this has not only to do with the weather (and the El Nino we are now in) but also how the planets and sun act has a pull on our moon / earth that also controls what happens to it.

So that to me is scary stuff. Very very very.

Considering we had a 'snow hurricane' with an eye over the city of NY a few weeks ago and then last weekend (power is still out in many places in my city since Saturday) and now a nor'easter so large that it was equall to a category one hurricane in wind speed.......it shows me that something is up (let alone all the snow this winter) and it's not even yet spring on the coast yet.  Yes I worry.

I thought the buildings falling down and the cracks in the earth so realistic,i dont think it so far fetched, this could possibly happen, the big one is suppose to hit the west coast soon and they can actually predict earthquakes, but the timing is not precise,we all know the mother earth has just about enough of us.

Take a limo to a plane to a helicopter to a boat to an ark...it was entertaining but about the most far fetched movie I've ever seen you have to admit that (Jon Cusak and the limo was just so FAR from believable) but I enjoyed it was what it was - a lot of CGI stuff blowing up..........I like that.  Much different from Godzilla when we were little ;)
