Hey Slide. How can it be a year already? I finished 5 months ago. I am glad you are doing so well. I never understood how anyone in construction could work and treat. That had to be brutal and I admire you for it.
I agree with everyone here who is done -- it was brutal this time last year on treatment. I am so glad to be done and feeling healthy (although a heck of a lot fatter!!!!)

I echo Lizbo's sentiments exactly. The fact that we can relate to each other is a blessing. To be able to come her and receive understanding, support, caring brings tears to my eyes

Thank you for sharing your new life! I just received the okay today to begin treatment as soon as my meds are approved. I'm 3a so am looking at 24 weeks of Pegasys and ribavirin (God willing). Hearing the stories from those who are on the other side of treating inspire me. I am so looking forward to feeling normal again! Merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year to you!
Good to hear from you and great to know you are doing well. Here's wishing you many Hep C free years in the future.
It feels like a reunion of misfits that only a dysfunctional, passionate, fearless family can share. I am so proud to be one of you - not happy about the Hep C but I never dreamed I could relate to strangers like the kindred souls all of us have become. I have to bow my head, close my eyes and say a prayer to the edge of time for this incredible trade off.
Happy new life Larry
Thank you,you give us hope. Have a nice Holidays and Happy New Year!
I recognize most of you from your past activity on this forum and from having spent so much time on here. I wish somehow we could all meet someday. I know that won't happen, so I would like wish each of you a VERY merry Christmas and holiday season the only way possible, here where we all met. I will make my new year resolution to stay active on this forum and try to help all the new warriors I can!! We are all in this together and are all in some fashion extended family. Love you guys and thanks for all the tx help!!
